Software Upgrade
9. Once you see the “Waiting for device handshake” message, turn on
the PM-1600. The PM-1600 screen will remain off; the unit will beep
once and programming will start automatically. A progress bar on the
computer screen will indicate the status of the software upgrade.
10. Once the software upgrade is complete, the “Reboot device for
self-test” message will appear.
11. Turn the PM-1600 off and then on again to use the upgraded software.
During self-test execution, the PM-1600 should display the new
software version number.
