RFL-4-Wire
The page allows you to set the following parameters:
Select Cable button opens a new page that allows you to set the cable
parameters for the current test. Refer Setting Cable Parameters on
page 212 for more information.
Save Test button opens a new page that allows you to save a snapshot
of test results into a result file. Refer Save Test on page 74 for more
information.
The page displays the separate good pair RFL test results. Based on the
cable condition, corresponding values are added into the diagram at
their specific positions. Test result units are dependent on Standard in
Setup/Application Settings.
Distance to strap (DTS).
Resistance to strap (RTS).
Distance from fault to strap (DFTS).
Resistance from fault to strap (RFTS).
Resistance to fault (RTF).
Distance to fault (DTF).
Faulted cable (FC).
Resistance at Fault (Rf) is the ohms of the fault only.
Voltage at fault (Vf).
If the test reports that it cannot detect the strap when the measured
loop resistance is >10 k Ohm, this may mean:
