Impulse Duration
Setting Test Parameters
The Test Parameters page allows you to set either the Impulse Duration
or Disruption test parameters, depending which tab is open.
To set the parameter values:
1. From either the Impulse Duration or Disruption tab, click the Edit
Parameters button to open the Test Parameters page.
2. Set the parameter values as required.
3. Tap Close to confirm and exit the page.
The page allows you to set the following parameters:
Noise Filter defines the filter currently enabled. Options are: None,
ISDN-E, HDSL-F, ADSL-G, ADSL, ADSL2+, VDSL, VDSL2-8, VDSL2-12,
VDSL2-17, VDSL2-30.
Termination Resistance allows you to define the resistance of the
dummy load connected to the line.
Ter mination is either Ter minated, if the termination resistance is
internal to the unit, or Bridging if the termination resistance is
external.
Test Duration allows you to set the length of time to run the test from a
list of values.
