Managing Alert Types
To add alert types
1. From the main menu, select Configuration > Alerting Types.
2. From the tree view, click the icon that appears next to Alerting
Types.
Note: If the SNMP channel type is selected, the machine address is displayed for
the destination table.
Events for which a
message will be sent.
To e n s u re t h e
application
takes this alert
type into
account.
To receive a confirmation
that the RTU is operational
(every 30 minutes).
Not used with stand-alone RTU
Alert type name (mandatory)
To sp ec i f y t he f o r m a t a n d
communication channel of the
message that will be sent.
To be notified of any problem with the RTU.
To indicate which users
will receive the
notification.
