Getting Started with Your Fiber Guardian

Preparing Your Unit for 3G/4G Access
To insert the SIM card in your unit:
1. Turn off the unit and disconnect it completely from the power sources
(turn off both disconnect devices).
2. Put on an antistatic strap and connect it to the connector provided for
that purpose on the front panel of the unit.
3. Turn the fan compartment screws counterclockwise until the
compartment is loose. Since the screws are captive screws, you
cannot remove them completely.
CAUTION
To avoid dropping the fan compartment and damaging the unit,
the fan, or the fan cord, hold the fan compartment firmly. Do not
allow the fan compartment to hang over the edge of a rack or a
table.
